About Innocity

IIMA Ventures has been working towards building “Tomorrow’s Startup Capitals” in the underserved regions of India, focusing on tier-2 and tier-3 cities in states like Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP and Assam. One of the gaps that has been seen in these geographies is the lack of a comprehensive ecosystem in tier-2 and tier-3 cities with effective interactions and transactions between the local innovators/entrepreneurs and the local HNIs / angel networks. The proposed initiative aims at sourcing ideas from Bharat and providing them a conducive environment to thrive and help build the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The program intends to support 5 startups from Jaipur, Indore, Coimbatore, Mysuru or any other tier 2 / tier 3 city with catalytic funding support of upto Rs 50 lakhs, in addition to mentoring and acceleration support.
