About the Program

IIMAvericks Challenge is a month and half-long, startup competition for IIMA students designed to identify, nurture, and reward the most promising student entrepreneurs from select long duration programs. 

The Application Deadline is 10th August

Program Objectives

A chance to stress-test your idea, get real feedback, and see what sticks, before you go all in.

We back the effort. It’s about showing up, making progress, and turning ideas into something real, not just perfect slides.

₹3,00,000 prize money + mentoring + institute recognition + CV points

Who Can Apply

PGP & PGP-FABM

  • The current batch of PGP & PGP-FABM both first and second year. ( Solo founders or teams up to 4 members) 

PGPX, BPGP

  • The current batch of PGPX & BPGP  both first and second year. ( Solo founders or teams up to 4 members) 

PhD Students

  • Students pursuing PHD on campus. ( Solo founders or teams up to 4 members) 

Frequently Asked Questions

The IIMAvericks Challenge is a startup competition organized by IIMA Ventures, aimed at identifying, nurturing, and rewarding the most promising entrepreneurial ideas from the student community at IIM Ahmedabad. The challenge offers funding, mentoring, and recognition to selected ventures.

 You can participate if you are a currently enrolled student from any of the following IIMA programs:

  • PGP (Year 1 or 2)
  • PGP-FABM (Year 1 or 2)
  • PGPX
  • BPGP 
  • PhD

 Both. You may apply:

  • Individually
  • As a team of up to 4 members
    All members must be currently enrolled in one of the eligible programs. Teams can be cross-program or cross-batch (e.g., PGP + PGPX).
