An accelerator for High-Potential Businesses aiming to unlock the next trajectory of growth
India has the largest number of small and medium businesses globally, contributing nearly a trillion dollars to the economy. The sector is expected to contribute over $2 trillion to the Indian economy and create 50 million additional jobs by 2024. Despite the size of the sector, the growth rate of small and medium businesses has remained relatively low. To remedy this, local businesses and small and medium enterprises must transform their processes and shift towards digitization, tech-optimization, and business model innovation to achieve an inorganic, startup-like scale while remaining financially sustainable. Adapting emerging technologies, business process optimization, management tools, frameworks, and processes like lean startup and business modeling can enable small and medium business entrepreneurs to identify growth opportunities and build scale. After the remarkable success of the first cohort, where 10 high-potential businesses went through the Growth Accelerator program (Oct 2023 to Jan 2024) and are now on their way to achieving the next level of scale, IIMA Ventures is launching the second cohort of the program “Growth Accelerator 2024” that promises to act as a springboard for high-potential businesses to achieve exponential growth.
A 3-day offline bootcamp at the IIMA campus including intensive interactions, sessions by IIMA faculty, immersive workshops, AMA sessions with successful entrepreneurs, mentoring, and networking dinners.
Diagnostics sessions with industry experts and mentors to identify bottlenecks to growth / review growth plans followed by intensive mentoring clinics with industry specialists to generate scalable growth paths, as part of the bootcamp.
Virtual office hours, post the bootcamp, for query resolution and growth plan refinement.
The growth plans will be reviewed and critiqued by partners of IIMA Ventures and industry stalwarts through virtual pitching and review sessions.

We define high-potential businesses as those with consistently growing revenues and clear profitability, along with the potential and desire to scale up and become high-growth businesses.
HPB entrepreneurs have achieved a certain level of stability in revenues and profits and are looking to achieve exponential growth (5x to 10x) over the short to medium term. Founder, Partner, Managing Director, Enterprise owner, willing to commit 4 days onsite and 6 to 8 hours online from October 2024 to December 2024. The accelerator is sector-agnostic. HPB entrepreneurs from any sector are eligible to apply.
The accelerator is designed for founders and second or third-generation leaders who are looking to empower themselves with the tools and strategies necessary for achieving the next level of growth. Entrepreneurs looking for structured guidance, in the form of knowledge of leveraging technology and innovation, funding options, and building the right organization for scale, must not miss this opportunity.
Certainly! Up to three people from the same organization can attend the Growth Accelerator 2024 program. If more than one person from the same organization wants to attend, the additional team member(s) will need to complete a short application form. This form is simply to gather basic information about the additional applicant, who will automatically be considered selected if the primary applicant is already enrolled. The fee for each additional participant will be INR 80,000. This is in addition to the primary applicant’s fee of INR 1,65,000. For example, the fee for the primary applicant plus one secondary applicant will be INR 2,45,000 and for the primary applicant plus two secondary applicants will be INR 3,25,000.
The accelerator structure builds upon IIMA Ventures’s deep and extensive experience in supporting innovative and disruptive businesses. The carefully curated modules, sessions, and workshops follow IIMA Ventures’s methodology of enabling businesses to exponentially grow their enterprises.
The entrepreneurs will be equipped with tools, frameworks, and processes to take their business through a rigorous process of business modeling, scalability design, and business environmental analysis (using formats in a workshop mode) to arrive at an implementable scaling-up strategy. Analysis and identification of different options to grow and develop a scaling-up plan based on scientific growth models. The benefit of tapping over 20 years of IIMA Ventures’ experience in incubating, accelerating, seeding, and funding game-changing technology-centric businesses. IIMA Ventures, IIMA, will award a certificate upon successful completion of the Growth Accelerator. Participants also get cloud credits of $500k+ from over 35 digital tools, for marketing, accounting, HR, and other support services.
The Bootcamp includes intensive interactions, sessions, and immersive workshops, networking dinners at IIMA Ventures, IIM Ahmedabad. The interventions and processes are designed to help entrepreneurs identify the critical challenges of growing businesses and growth priorities. The modules comprise of IIMA Ventures’s methodologies delivered in the form of workshops and exercises to enable the entrepreneur to logically & scientifically arrive at methods of expansion and scaling up.
